About

Our Story

As a south Louisiana native and former high school French teacher, I've always felt a deep connection with my French heritage and the traditions that make our region so special. Using recipe books and YouTube videos, I taught myself how to make an array of breads including baguettes, brioche, sourdough, and croissants. In 2017, I made my first king cake and it was met with huge success. In 2020, having made the decision to go "all in", I left my teaching career and we built a commercial kitchen on our property in Maurice.

Our business has been growing and providing our community with delicious breads ever since. We attended farmer's markets for 4+ years, gaining a strong customer base and experience in larger batch baking.  What started as a home bakery expanded into something bigger in 2025 when we began wholesaling our breads to local shops and grocery stores, allowing our bread to reach more tables across Acadiana.

My husband Kory and I have five children and a mini farm. In our business, we value the breads that tie us to our roots, the partnerships that strengthen our community, and the lessons of hard work we pass on to our children and team. We are endlessly thankful to Acadiana for the support and we can't wait to see where will grow from here!
