As a south Louisiana native and former French teacher, I developed a passion for the art of bread making and eating. Using recipe books and YouTube videos, I taught myself how to make an array of breads including baguettes, brioche, and sourdough. In 2017, I made my first king cake and sold 75 that year and many more in the following years.
The success of our king cakes led to the decision to stop teaching and pursue my love of bread making as a full time venture. We built a home bakery on our property in Maurice in 2020.
My husband and business partner, Kory, and I have five children and a mini farm complete with chickens, goats, rabbits, and sheep. We are endlessly thankful to our community for the support they have shown us in our dream of bringing homemade and wholesome bread and pastries to our area.
