About

Our Story

As a south Louisiana native and former French teacher, I developed a passion for making traditional and cultural breads while seeking a deeper connection with my French heritage. Using recipe books and YouTube videos, I taught myself how to make an array of breads including baguettes, brioche, sourdough, and croissants. In 2017, I made my first king cake and it was met with huge success. In 2020, having made the decision to go "all in", I left my teaching career and we built a commercial kitchen on our property in Maurice.

Our business has been growing and providing our community with delicious breads ever since. We attended farmer's markets for 4+ years, gaining a strong customer base and experience in large batch baking.  In April 2025, Nunu's, a local beloved grocery store, began carrying our products, where we deliver fresh bread 6 days a week.

My husband and business partner, Kory, and I have five children and a mini farm. We are endlessly thankful to our community for the support they have shown us in our dream of bringing homemade and wholesome bread and pastries to our area.
